Within the course students will learn various styles of dance such as ballet, drill team, jazz, cultural/social dance, modern, and contemporary. Within these styles of dance students will be introduced to the dance vocabulary and definitions to go along with these terms. We will also discuss key figures who have contributed to the progression of each dance style.

During this course there will be required performances. Attendance and participation for the performances listed above are mandatory and will be taken as a test grade and daily grades.
